Significant sports and recreation area is situated to the south of the Municipality Headquarters Building of Panorama Thessaloniki. The renewal project for this area includes the completion of the sports facilities, the walking path from the Municipality Building, the area around the open-air cinema of Panorama, the renewal of the old riding club, the renewal of the sports center and the provision of parking places near the gym and the indoor pool building. This project was one of the urban renewal projects for the Municipalities of Thessaloniki, funded and executed by the ESPA program with European financial support.
