The Science Center and Technology Museum of Thessaloniki has an extensive technology museum space and a group of unique projection rooms and areas, along with a large reception and circulation space running across the building’s length. The projection rooms include a planetarium, a double flight simulation room, a unique film projection room with a large screen, a conference center, and other front and back of house rooms. The building’s essential characteristics are the planetarium sphere and the central circulation space made from glass and steel, with an inclined roof to the south. The manager’s standards and specifications set for the project made its design and construction a very complicated technical task.
